The BBL has launched an all-new fantasy league for the 2007/08 season; test your recruitment skills against some of the top coaches in the game and win regular prizes. Pit your wits against the likes of BBL Championship winner Paul James, Playoff winner Fab Flournoy, BBL Trophy winner Gary Stronach, and a host of BBL enthusiasts!
BBL Fantasy League entrants are required to select their team from all of the BBL players, who will be ranked according to our rating system. Throughout the season the BBL players attain fantasy points based on their statistics in BBL Championship games – a successful combination of your recruitment and their performances will help you score points!
The overall winner of the BBL Fantasy League is that entrant whose selected team has the highest number of fantasy points at the end of the 33-game BBL Championship regular season.
The prize for the overall winner is a fantastic VIP weekend at the Basketball Finals Weekend on 3/4 May 2008. This includes hotel accommodation, front row courtside seats, and access to the VIP lounge for two. Best of all: you will get your photo taken, signed, and framed, with one of the members of your team on the court at British basketball’s showpiece event. Monthly prizes include BBL Official Matchballs, tickets to other events, and more.
To test your knowledge of BBL players, your adeptness with managing a roster throughout the season, and to go up against fellow hoops fans, as well as be in with a shot at winning some of these great basketball-related prizes, all you have to do is pick your team and pay just £7 as an entry fee.
Plus, if you cannot fit all of your favourite players in one team, and to increase your chances of winning, you can purchase further teams for just £3 each! So that’s one team for £7, two teams for £10, and so on.
