Poujoulat Heat Guildford maintained their 100% record in the group stages of the BBL Trophy thanks to a comfortable 118-69 victory over EBL side Barkers (Tarring) Worthing Thunder at the Guildford Spectrum on Sunday afternoon.

The Heat stamped their authority on the game in the opening exchanges, and a 17-2 burst took the score out to 24-8 midway through the opening period.

The Heat continue to stretch their lead, and a 12-2 tear in the second took the score out to 49-25. The Heat went in at the half leading 58-34.

The second half saw the home side enjoy runs of 7-0 and 11-0 to lead 89-48 midway through the third period, and despite the visitors restricting the home side's scoring in the final quarter, a 14-4 finish to the game for the Heat saw them run out comfortable winners.

Jon Nottley led all scorers in the game with 28 points for the Heat, while Cleve Woodfork led the Worthing scorers with 16.
