SAMG Verve Scottish Rocks brushed aside Sheffield Sharks with ease in Glasgow to keep up their league title challenge.

Despite scoring the first basket of the match Sheffield never led again as a 10-0 Rocks run set them up for a 20-9 first quarter score. An 8-0 burst by Rocks in the second opened up a 32-16 lead on their way to a 44-28 advantage at half time.

It was no better after the interval for the Sharks as a 7-0 run by the home side saw them go 20-points in front (58-38). A further 7-0 tear closed the quarter 67-43 to Rocks.

The largest lead of the match for Rocks came midway through the final period as they stretched out to 78-49 before both coaches made use of the remaining time to play their bench players.
