SAMG Verve Scottish Rocks kept up their challenge for the title with a comfortable 67-101 road win at Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders.

In an even first quarter, which was tied at 16-16 in the last minute, the Rocks suddenly exploded into life with an 11-0 burst during the final 60 seconds to lead 16-27.

It was an advantage that they would build on with a three-pointer to open the second quarter and consolidate to half time as the teams went in at the interval 35-53.

An 8-0 start to the third further emphasised the Rocks superiority as they went 35-61 in front. There was no way back for Leicester from there as the teams traded baskets to give the Rocks a valuable away win.
